Day 65 - Tantalizingly close!

Hello all. Well day 65 is here and as expected, I have gained more knowledge about health and my body than I ever expected. Is it me or does Patrick have an uncanny way of giving us information about our bodies, health, life or whatever at the exact moment that you start to wonder about it? It's amazing to me how spot on he is all the time. Amazingly helpful!

I was pleasantly surprised to have the slight diet change for the dinner this week. I had completely run out of creativity when it came to an Apple and 2 Egg whites! Having some veggies and protein at night is a nice treat.

I wonder if anyone else is going through the same thing but I am up and down emotionally throughout the day when it comes to my progress. Don't get me wrong. I am very happy with my progress so far and love how everyone I see comments on how good I look or how good I am doing. It's just, I want to drop a few more kilos and get that flat stomach I set as a goal from the get go. I know I can get it but know that we have started the countdown to day 90 I feel like I am going to fall short of that. So (and I know Pat is going to get mad) but I started to skip snacks and reduce carb intake whenever I can. I do 90 minutes on the treadmill at night all in a desperate attempt to make my initial goal. That's okay right?

Anyway, still not bad for 65 days and 42 years old!

Also, you guys all look fantastic! I have been trying to comment on your posts individually but I still cannot get it to work. It's really annoying but I want to let you all know that I am looking and I am inspired by you all!

25 days to go team Thor, 25 days to go!

  1. Sorry Blogger is being so glitchy recently. Keep trying every few days to comment!

As for your up and down feelings about your progress, what's happening is that you're moving the bar. What would have completely satisfied you two months ago isn't enough now. The mind always wants more. Learning to deal with this hitch in human psychology is also part of the PCP. We'll talk more about this as we go on.
